Biography
Dr C.J. Sridhara received his Masters and PhD in Agronomy from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. He is specialized in water management and irrigation aspects by involving himself in teaching, research and extension activities related to water management. Currently, he is working as Professor and Controller of Examination at University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Shimoga, Karnataka, India. In his prolonged experience as a teacher he has published about 25 international, 20 national level research papers in various journals, published a book on aerobic rice cultivation and participated in various conferences held at Nepal and Colombo apart from being served as a chairman for the conference. He has guided more than 15 masters and doctoral students for their researches specifically on water management aspects served as a reviewer for various national and international journals and serving as an academic council member at UAHS, Shimoga. To recognize his expertise in teaching the Indian Council of Agricultural Researches awarded best teacher award during 2011 also received awards like outstanding achievement award by SAID, held at Nepal, Best scientist award by SLCARP, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
